As the Managing Director for Asia Pacific & Japan at Cloudian, he is responsible for leading the company's expansion with both service providers and enterprise customers. With a deep understanding of the evolving IT landscape, James focuses on delivering innovative storage solutions that help organizations tackle the growing challenges of unstructured data.
Throughout his career, James has specialized in working with challenger brands, successfully launching and scaling new vendors in the APJ market. He has a proven track record of taking businesses from modest revenue figures to multi-million-dollar success stories. At Cloudian, he has been instrumental in driving adoption of object storage solutions, helping customers navigate cybersecurity threats, and building strong business alliances across the region.
Before Cloudian, James was the ANZ Sales Director for Nutanix, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s market presence and scaling its business. Prior to that, he was one of the founding employees at Pure Storage ANZ, helping to establish the brand as a market leader. His leadership experience also includes tenure at IBM, BenQ, and Mitsubishi Electric, where he honed his expertise in sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships.
