Jon Toor

Chief Marketing Officer, Cloudian

Jon Toor is the CMO at Cloudian, where he leads the company’s outbound marketing efforts, driving brand awareness, PR, and demand generation. With over two decades of experience in enterprise storage and cloud technology, Toor has been instrumental in positioning Cloudian as a leader in the object storage market. He oversees global marketing strategy, product messaging, and go-to-market initiatives, working closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth. His leadership has contributed to Cloudian’s expansion, strategic partnerships, and industry recognition as a top innovator in data storage solutions.

Before joining Cloudian, Toor was the Vice President of Digital Marketing and Demand Generation at Brocade. In this role, he developed and executed high-impact digital marketing strategies, enhancing Brocade’s online presence and driving pipeline growth. His expertise in digital transformation and data-driven marketing helped strengthen Brocade’s position in the highly competitive networking and data center market.

Prior to Brocade, Toor served as the Vice President of Marketing at Xsigo Systems, where he led the outbound marketing team from the company’s launch to its successful acquisition by Oracle. During his tenure, he played a critical role in establishing Xsigo as a leader in I/O virtualization, developing compelling messaging, executing go-to-market strategies, and driving customer adoption. His contributions helped accelerate the company’s growth, ultimately leading to its acquisition by a major industry player.

Earlier in his career, Toor was the Vice President of Marketing at ONStor, a provider of scalable NAS solutions. At ONStor, he spearheaded marketing initiatives, branding, and demand generation, helping the company build a strong presence in the enterprise storage market. His work contributed to ONStor’s ability to differentiate itself in the crowded storage landscape and attract key customers.

Toor holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and an MBA—all from Stanford University.
